Festie comes to Canada 1992

Festie's veteran years.

During a holiday to England in 1992, we were staying with Festie's breeders, when Festie -- aged four years -- was returned to them. It was arranged that Festie should have a new life in Canada and she made the adjustment magnificently.

Festie was line bred on the greatest sire the breed has known, Meudon Amber Glow (Murphy). She proved herself in her breedings to two different sires. Many of her offspring have been placed in show homes. She produced consistently puppies with her own sweet temperament and excellent type. She was the first Red and White to be exhibited in Canada (Rare Breeds' Show, Toronto, 1992).

Her hips certified OFA Good, eyes clear and thyroid good.

Festie died in August 1997.
