"The clearances relevant to IR&WS's are hips/elbows (OVC, OFA, or PennHip in North America), CLAD (by DNA or by inheritance), thyroid (by complete profile including TgAA), vWD  (in North America by factor (ELISA)), and ongoing eye exams ( there have been cases of post polar cataract seen in the breed, which occasionally acts as an incomplete dominant).
